  • Prelude.  We proudly presented and produced a concert to honor and thank God, veterans, first responders & their families, offering respect and healing for heroes who sacrifice their lives for us every day, including Gold Star families. The Florida Patriot Guard Riders escorted and erected both the Vietnam Memorial Wall and the Global War on Terrorism Memorial Wall,  displayed at the event for all to pay respects.  Several vendors had tables and resources for attendees.
  • Opening. We started with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and the 2d Marine Division performed an outstanding patriotic opening, followed by the St. John County Sheriff’s Office Color Guard and the Coastal Florida Police & Fire Pipes and Drums, retired police and firefighters, who played bagpipes and drum music to honor those who served our county, both foreign and domestic.  Monica and Dave Willard helped us to present a peace pole to the Amphitheatre.
  • Headliner.  The main event of the World Changers Concert featured The Long Run (TLR) Band, America’s favorite tribute to the Eagles.  And we welcomed event guest speaker Karen Vaugh, a national bestseller and author of World Changer, the story of her son, Navy Seal Aaron Vaughn.  The St. Augustine Royal Family graced attendees with their authentic portrayal of the 1672 Spanish Royal Family Trio who commissioned the building of and reigned during the building of Castillo de San Marcos.   Awards were given to many of the guests, and American Warrior Initiative presented Danny the opportunity to have a service dog specially trained to support him.
  • Special Guests. Grammy® Nominee Bruce Stephen Foster sang his original anthem “America Salutes You”. New artist Joshua Henry performed two of his original songs.  What an amazing event, executed to perfection.  We praise God for the participants, sponsors, and the St. Augustine Amphitheatre Staff.
